Project Managment. Fran served as Project Manager for new construction of over 20 vessels in Taiwan ranging from 44 ft to 76 ft. During his time with Grand Banks and Palm Beach he provided Service and Warranty for several hundred boats built in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.
FMM's Project Management services include:
- Oversight representing the buyer for new construction, major or minor refits.
- Assisting in the selection of a builder or shipyard, maintaining production schedules;
- Liaison with builder or shipyards, naval architects, interior designers, and surveyors;
- Providing progress reports with documentation and photos;
- Recommending equipment, reviewing installation per manufacturer recommendations;
- Recommending safety equipment, ground tackle, commissioning equipment;
- Sea trials for OEM acceptance;
- Follow-up inspections and owner training.
Fran will leverage his knowledge base and extensive industry network with your builder or shipyard to use best practices and follow ABYC and NFPA standards.

Vessel Service and logistics
Vessel Service and Logistics-If you own a boat or are looking at a new purchase, service and maintenance is the key to longevity and reliability. Maintaining a scheduled program is the best way to protect your investment and maximize time on the water. FMM will inspect your vessel's current condition, establish a customized schedule and recommended mission critical spare parts. FMM will develop a daily and annual checklist for your vessel. FMM has long standing relationships with many service providers and major equipment suppliers to help expedite emergency service or locate that hard to find part.
